This Tallow is from local farmers in  Montana, Wyoming & North Dakota. The cattle here have the most beautiful Suet fat from the long cold winters as it grows on them in Mass to keep their internal organs warm. WHAT FAT IS USED? Only the suet fat from around the kidneys. No other fat from the cow is used to make my high quality tallow & it reflects in smell and quality. In my experience working with animal fats from across the US It Is PRIME for making beauty products. If you are wanting a tallow for making your own beauty products you won’t find better anywhere. It will far surpass all others. Not to dry or to wet, No extra straining out sediments. Long times at low heats retain the delicate nutrients in the fat that are then transferred into your products. Initially to perfect my rendering process with my desire to make a perfect tallow skin moisturizer, I had lab analyzations conducted to research what nutrients stay and what nutrients leave with different render methods. Ex: wet, vs dry & at various temps and by applying different heating methods. This way I was able to find how to leave in all the minerals/nutrients while purifying in the process. You won’t find better tallow. All my tallow is made in small batches by hand in my workshop from North American Beef cattle, from our farm and local ranches in Montana, North Dakota & Wyoming. DOES IT SMELL? This tallow is processed in such a way that it has little to no odor. Purifying it to retaining the essential nutrients that are of such great benefit to skin as well as nutrient in cooking with. It has a light buttery flavor for pastry’s baking and high heat tolerance from scorching for frying. Other tallows that are available for purchase are all normally the lower quality meaty smelling fats from the rest of the animal that are found through and attached to the meat of the body. This tallow is ONLY purified Suet. (Organ fat) In the pictures you can see the purity of it after it’s rendered. Color of tallow varies from very yellow like butter & everything in between to white.

Tallow guaranteed for 1 month after shipping, it’s recommended for long term storage (anything over a month) that you transfer to glass mason jars ( to keep in dry pantry long term) , freeze or make into soaps or cosmetics within a month or (put into sealed containers) preferably glass, with air tight seal as most cosmetic or mason jars have.
